Swim

The hardest part of the triathlon (for many). And the greatest part (for few). The rest just swim.

The swim in a triathlon is one of the most unpredicatable elements. Many don't have access to open water swimming and believe laps in the pool will suffice. Some are shocked by water temperatures. Some realize it's deep. Real deep. No matter the conditions, we got you and are working on pulling the best resources to make you a great swimmer.

Mindset

The mindset of a swim varies from every athlete. Some find it calming. A time where it's just you and the water. Some find it to be frustrating, with time alone to your thoughts, the feeling that progress is slow, the inabaility to go faster (unlike biking and running) and more. Finding a tempo in the water and creating comfort is key.

Resources

There are endless resources on swimming. From training, classes, online instruction, and more. Everything is opinion and practice; it's for you to apply, test, assess, and adjust. This goes for training, technique, and evertything in between. The most important thing: BE SAFE. Have support around you, be aware, use good safe gear, and know your limits.

Our mantra

Let's keep it simple. Sometimes, you just need to learn a little, do it, figure out ways to enjoy it, then repeat it. You take what you learn and apply. This makes rewarding and fun!
